Many people think that it’s not possible to get pregnant after stoma surgery or that surgery can affect fertility, but this is a common myth as fertility would only be affected if you already have a medical condition that is related to your reproductive system.

As with all pregnancies, your body will go through a number of changes. Your abdomen will stretch which can cause your stoma to stretch and change shape so it’s important to resize your template and wafer throughout the pregnancy.
