Job title: Maintenance Engineer

Reporting into: Lead Maintenance Engineer

Location: Skipton

Job Purpose

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous running of the factory’s onsite equipment and machinery. You will carry out routine maintenance and repairs. You will also be involved with the manufacture of items to assist in the routine and site maintenance.

Your role is vital to the efficiency, development and manufacturing of our products to ensure that we maintain a robust supply chain in order to meet the needs of distribution partners and suppliers and, most importantly, our customers.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that routine engineering maintenance work is carried out in-line with the Company’s preventive maintenance schedule and minimise downtime by following good engineering practice.
  • Communicate unscheduled breakdowns, emergencies and repairs immediately to the Lead Maintenance Engineer.
  • Diagnose breakdown problems, where possible identifying root cause and suggesting possible improvements to prevent further breakdowns occurring.
  • Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly by carrying out validation and stability testing and recording results.
  • Carry out quality inspections on jobs in-line with Company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment and ensure that they are kept in good working order.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out within Company and legislative health and safety guidelines, highlighting possible areas of improvement to the Operations Director.
  • Timely reporting of any Health and Safety and/or Environmental Issues to the Lead Maintenance Engineer.
  • Follow good engineering standards and good hygiene practice for the department.
  • Being an ambassador for the site at all times, behaving in a professional and courteous manner with both internal and external customers.
  • As required by the needs of the business, it may be necessary, on occasion, to work unsociable hours, to minimise downtime of machines and disruption to production.
  • On occasion you may be required to visit suppliers, and this may require an overnight stay.
  • Undertake other jobs as reasonably requested within the scope of the job to improve the running of the department.
  • To comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act at all times and the Company’s own Health & Safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Company’s Employee Handbook.

Job Title: Production Operative – 6.15am – 2.15pm Shift and 2.00 – 10.00 pm shift

Reporting into: Team Leader

Location: Skipton

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring production schedules are achieved and product quality standards are maintained.
  • You will need to be able to learn each production area as and when required.
  • Ensure production equipment is well maintained and cleaned at regular intervals and any faults reported immediately to the Production Supervisor.
  • You will need to learn and follow at all times our manufacturing and regulatory and quality procedures as set out in the Company’s SOPs. 
  • Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the production area at all times, reporting any areas of concern to the Production Supervisor immediately.
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme required in order to fulfil all aspects of this role and ensure compliance with Company processes.
  • Ensure that all tasks undertaken are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents, accidents and hazards are reported immediately to the Production Supervisor in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety Procedures.
  • Be prepared to undertake any other relevant duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the Company

Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring that Trio Healthcare products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required for distribution and the market.  Responsible for ensuring that the elements of the Quality Management System are fit for purpose, maintained and executed to the established standards.

Provide support to quality/regulatory personnel in the pursuit of audit readiness.

Additional responsibilities relating to the site operations or quality functions may arise from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

This includes but is not limited to:

  • NCR / Deviation / CAPA actions and effectivity checks
  • Performing Internal audits
  • Updating quality documents / procedures / records
  • Reviewing and updating key aspects of the QMS / Improvement projects
  • Reviewing and updating key equipment lists
  • Batch documentation review and product release
  • Complaint Handling
  • Artwork review
  • Data analysis / KPI generation & review
  • Risk Management

The job may also involve elements of:

  • Supporting production trials, review of trial documents (e.g., protocols) and paperwork
  • Purchasing Controls (Raw Material / Bought in Component release, supplier evaluation etc.)
  • Support / Training production operators and other teams in aspects of the QMS
  • Occasional laboratory testing

Job title: Sales Operations Co-ordinator

Line Manager: Supply Chain Manager

Job location: Skipton

Job Purpose:

You will play a critical role working closely with the Commercial and Operations functions within the business, providing broad operational day-to-day support and a smooth, effective sales process as the Company undergoes rapid growth and expansion to meet its ambitious future plans.

You will take ownership for improving our current sales operations and, where necessary, implementing new procedures which will allow us to serve our customers effectively and efficiently both domestic and internationally based.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales order processing is carried out in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage relationships with customers by understanding their needs and building confidence with them to develop and grow longstanding relationships based on customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty.
  • Work with Operations to ensure sales teams and customers are kept up to date on the status of their orders and the availability of products.
  • Ensure customers are kept up to date with changes to products and prices and their systems are updated appropriately.
  • Work with the finance team on credit control to ensure customer accounts are reconciled.
  • Ensure all feedback from customers is communicated to the relevant teams to ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Produce sales and backorder reports in a timely manner for Managers and Directors.
  • Ensure customer files are maintained and information regarding prices, onboarding, individual terms and conditions and relevant product updates are kept current.
  • Ensure warehousing is aware of specific shipping requirements for customer orders and assist in preparation of export documentation.
  • Work with Sales to prioritise conflicting orders from customers.
  • Work closely with UK Marketing team and international distributors to collate sales forecast information and liaise with Production to ensure that they are provided with accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts which are realistic and manageable in terms of manufacturing and delivery times.
  • Work closely with Marketing teams to ensure that purchase orders are raised in line with quotations received and within budget parameters by tracking spend and highlighting out of budget costs to Team Leaders.
  • Work closely with Commercial and Operations to ensure that sample shipments are documented on the system prior to being dispatched.
  • Work closely with R&D/Clinical to ensure that trial shipments are sent out to patients in a timely manner and recorded appropriately in accordance with GDPR.
  • Manage Amazon process to ensure that orders received are being picked, packed and processed in a timely manner and invoices raised and loaded onto system.
  • Ensure that sales records (including unit sales sheets) are maintained and kept up-to-date to ensure reports complied from this information and distributed internally contain the most accurate information.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience in a business setting.

Education and Training

  • Take ownership of personal development and training, through regular review of performance against business objectives, and take responsibility for self-development.
